Basement

When I used to live on Bedford street we lived on the third floor and we had a section in the basement. I loved the basement in that apartment. It was always so fun. I would go down there and play all the time. Some of my old toys were there so I would go and playing with them or just chill out down there with my friends. In the summer time it always had a stench of wine because the landlord would make his own Portuguese wine and give my parents a few bottles whenever it was done.

Practice

Practice makes perfect, a well used saying in this life. And it’s defiantly true. The more you practice doing something the better you will get at it. I got a lot better at basketball because I practice almost every day. I’m glad I did to because it made my team and I go all the way to the championship game. We didn’t win but we got second place and it meant everything because it was my last year at St. Anne’s. So when someone tells you to practice you better do it because its worth it.

The photo posted today reminds me of discovery zone. Because the escalators remind me of the slide with all the rollers on it and I used to go there all the time and play with my friends. Those were some of the best times I have ever had. I had a few parties there and they were just so fun I wash they didn’t close that place down. So many kids had a blast in that place. I would get so excited when someone was having a party there because the best part of the maze was the slide with the rollers.

When I hear the word play I think about basketball. I played basketball for four years at CYO. It was the best time of my life and I regret not playing basketball in high school. If I got the chance to play again I definitely would say yes without hesitation. I played for St Anne’s. It was me and some of my best friends. We had a blast on the court and our coaches were awesome. They really knew a lot about basketball and we made second place in the championship. I was always so happy when I played basketball.

Work

I absolutely love my job. I love it for a few reasons all of the people I work with are amazing. They are all so nice and helpful and we always work together and are there for each other. I even go to the gym with a few of the ladies from my job. We have a goodtime. The work isn’t the hardest work around but it does keep you busy. My bosses are awesome the nicest people I’ve ever met. The hours are really good too they fit around m schedule so I can go to school. Its great.

Yellow

The color yellow reminds me of a yellow smiley face piggy bank I got hen I was younger at Big Top. Me and a bunch of my friends went with my parents and played games all day. We were having a blast we all had so many tickets. It was my birthday the next week and I really anted that yellow smiley face piggy bank for a prize in the display case. So I was putting my shoes back on about to eat a cookie when my friends came over with the bank put their tickets together to get it.

Ocean

When I think of the ocean I think of a peaceful place where I can go and relax. I love to sit and watch the waves crashing up against the rocks. It calms me and I feel at home by the water. I love to swim and be in the water too. I think it would be nice to live in the ocean. So peaceful’ so I can just be free and swim all day. Even though it tastes like salt I still love it and would love to be in it every day. Somewhere warm would be awesome now.

When I pick up a pencil it makes me think of my uncle. He likes to draw. He drew a picture of me playing basketball a few years ago. It came out really good. He got me into art and drawing myself. We went to the art store and he bought me a notepad ad pencils and I started to draw whenever I had free time. I was never as good as he was but I was ok. After a while I got busy with work and school so I never really had much time to draw. But he always did.

Drive

I love to drive. Whenever I’m stressed out I hop in my car and go for a drive. It relaxes me and I don’t know why. I just go and I don’t know where I’m going. I turn on the radio listen to some music relax and just drive. I put everything behind me on the road I don’t let anyone bother me. I’m free on the road. Its my place to be me and get all my anger out. I never have a destination but I usually just drive on the highway. I can go fast and not stop.
